Welcome!

My name is Steven Barrera and I am one of the Primus Selection Chairs for the 2016-17 Academic School Year here at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Created in 1977 by SOPHOS Sophomore Honorary, Primus still stands as the only freshman honorary on campus.

Primus is a philanthropic and social club designed to help UofA freshman get to know their peers and encourage them to get involved not only on campus but within the Tucson community. Each Primus class is comprised of 30 members.

As a past primigo I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am to Primus and the connections it helped me create. My co-chair, Annie Thede and I are looking forward to reading your applications and cultivating the new Primus class.

Hello my name is Annie Thede. I am currently a sophomore, as well as the other co-chair for the 2016-17 Primus Freshman Honorary at the UofA. I am from Chandler, Arizona and I have a prepetual love for gushers. The only thing I love more than gushers is my school and this next Primus class.

 

Aside from being a very enthusiastic co-chair for Primus, I am a current member of SOPHOS sophomore honorary. I am excited to help guide and develop freshman in this honorary to making lasting relationships, impacts and memories.

 

Steven Barrera and I are beyond thrilled for this oppurtunity to get to select a rockin 2016-17 Primus class.
